About the artist
Brenda Charles was born in Monterrey, Mexico. At a very early age she became interested in art and pursued this interest in her studies at the Marco Museum of Contemporary Art, at the Museum of Mexican History and at the Nuevo Leon University, receiving thereby the classical, comprehensive training. Later she developed a deep interest in modern forms of artistic expression such as photography, digital art and installations. Numerous international exhibitions – both individual and group exhibitions – as well as awards in Europe, in the United States, in South America and in Mexico are evidence of the far-reaching influence of her work. In 2008 Brenda Charles was Chairperson of the "Asociación de la Plástica de San Pedro Garza García" and is presently Chairperson of the "Artists & Runners for Human Rights" in Mexico. She also manages the "Pristine International Art Concepts".
