1923 Siqueiros helped found the Syndicate of Revolutionary Mexican Painters, Sculptors and Engravers, which addressed the problem of widespread public access through its union paper, El Machete
1924 Siqueiros and Rivera were appointed to the Executive Committe of the Mexican Communist Party (CPM)
1925 – 1930 Artistical break 1932 First solo exhibition in Mexico-City
1936 Siqueiros opened in New York his Experimental Workshop. A Laboratory of Modern Techniques in Art. The young Jackson Pollock attended the workshop.
1937 Siqueiros fought with the Republican Army against Francisco Franco's fascist dictatorship in Spain
1939 Returned to Mexico
1940 Attack on Trotsky´s house
1951 Organized the exhibition "Mexican Art for National Independence and Peace, and Against Poverty" with 25 other artists in Mexico City
1960 arrested for openly attacking the President of Mexico and leading protests against the arrests of striking workers and teachers
1964 released and resumed work on his suspended murals in the Actors' Union and Chapultepec Castle
1965 Workshop with a team of national and international artists to work on the panels in Cuernavaca, known as the Polyforum Siqueiros.
1966 National Art Award, Lenin Peace Prize

1973 Siqueiros died at the age of 73 in Mexico City
