Mario Orozco Rivera

Mario Orozco Rivera (Mexico City 1930 – 1998) Painter and muralist, under Siqueiros´aegis, a leading member of the monumental project of the Polyforum Cultural Siqueiros. His work is to be found in many private and public collections: In the Polyforum (one of the rooms is named in his honour the Mario Orozco Rivera Room), in the Museo de Arte Moderno of INBA, in the Museo Tecnológico de la CFE, Mexico-City, in the Museo Iconográfico del Quijote, Guanajuato, in the University Veracruzana (in which he painted several walls), in the National Museum Prague (then Czechoslovakia), in the Casa de las Américas in Cuba and in many private collections in Venezuela, Argentina, USA, China, the onetime Soviet Union and other countries.
