Irina Krause

Irina Krause grew up in Russia and studied at the Stroganov Art Academy of Design in Moscow. She continued her education in Germany at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach / Main there Irina Krause later on had an assignment for teaching. This was followed by a studio stay in New York.

In addition to numerous group exhibitions, the exhibitions "The Magic Square" in Hanau, the Museum Schloss Phillipsruhe and the "Impressive Experiences" exhibition at the Icon Museum Frankfurt are particularly noteworthy, followed by an exhibition at the University Art Gallery, Houston Texas. Irina Krause was also shown at the Belgian art fair LINEART, followed by numerous exhibitions in Berlin, Brussel, Munich, Freiburg, Wiesbaden, Frankfurt and Zurich. Irina Krause works and lives in Hanau near Frankfurt as well as in Berlin. She signs her works with "Irina".

Irina Krause always approaches serious themes with a childish playfulness, in which the experience of an adult and moving life is - the resulting contrast leads to an exhilarating tension in her work.
